The fitness centre, a premium fitness centre in Anna Nagar, Chennai, had a well-equipped facility, certified trainers, and strong member retention — but struggled to fill new memberships. Their in-house Facebook Ads were burning budget with poor targeting and no funnel structure. Digigrowvity was brought in to completely rebuild the Meta advertising strategy, design a proper three-stage acquisition funnel, and turn digital spend into predictable, measurable membership growth.
The fitness centre was spending Rs.40,000 per month on Facebook Ads with a cost-per-lead of Rs.480 and a conversion rate of less than 8%. Ads were running without a retargeting layer, without video creatives, and with a single generic message aimed at everyone. Competitor gyms in the same radius were running smarter campaigns and winning the most valuable members — young professionals aged 24–35 who were ready to commit to a 6 or 12-month plan.
Digigrowvity rebuilt the entire Meta Ads structure from scratch. A three-stage funnel was designed: Stage 1 — Awareness, using transformation video ads with hyperlocal 8km radius targeting; Stage 2 — Consideration, using before/after testimonial carousels retargeted to video viewers; Stage 3 — Conversion, using a limited-time offer ad retargeted to website visitors and lead form openers. A WhatsApp-integrated lead form replaced the standard Meta form, allowing the sales team to respond within minutes.
In 60 days, the fitness centre acquired 180 new paying members — the best two-month membership growth in the gym's history. Cost-per-lead fell from Rs.480 to Rs.87, an 82% reduction. The campaign delivered a 6.2× ROAS, generating Rs.9.3 lakh in membership revenue on a Rs.1.5 lakh ad investment. The retargeting layer alone converted at 3.4× the rate of cold audiences. The gym also ranked #2 on Google Maps for "gym in Anna Nagar" as a result of parallel GMB optimisation.
